I haven't done this in ages, but then i haven't really played a lot in the last few weeks.
At the weekend I I finished of a bit of a marathon week on Plants Vs Zombies (PC). I went through the andventure mode twice to get the Yeti Zombie in the Almanac, and a bunch of minigames and Zen Garden farming to get the cash for all the seeds. I had it set not to update, so I still had the MJ zombie. It's still great fun.
I spent an evening playing Afterburner Climax (XBLA), and getting the last few achievements for the full 200 gamerpoints. Playing with the EX options is a lot of fun.
Me & Sly haven't been having much luck with Guild Wars (PC), these last missions are too hard for the two of us to manage with just AI partners.
In the last couple of days I've picked up King's Bounty: The Legend (PC) again. Last night I sabotaged a Dwarf's chemistry experiments by putting a stink bomb in his cauldron. After that I thwarted a zombie outbreak by getting a cursed ring from a zombified woman, and then going into the ring and fighting the curse so a mage could reverse the spell.
And then I married the Zombie woman.

I totally forgot about the MJ zombie (in fact i think i might have played it since the king passed and not made the connection)
Still need to complete this actually. Got to the roof levels and ended up getting annoyed with it.

In the last week, ive actually played soem games! do iphone/facebook ones count??
Bejewelled 2 on my iphone which links to my facebook account i actually scored over 400k for the first time and held 3rd position out of all my friends for one week, happy days!!
Bioshock2, loved it, what else can i say for £9.97 a complete bargain, the drill weapon is superb with all the add-ons and the powerup so all you use is the drill, just went through beating people up with the drill, i rescued all the little girls, tempting to go back and harvest them all.
The week ahead see mass effect 2, hope its good!

I've been messing with many things again, not making a lot of progress in all.
I have been playing Dragon Quest: CotC but have not been back to it, I dunno why, it's great and I finished the chapter with the merchant which was getting laborious and it did start getting great again. Hopefully I'll get back to it. Also on the DS I've played Tales in a Box (the head tracking eye spy game) which is pretty decent, I must nearly be done with it, great use of the technology.
I've been dabbling in Monday Night Combat, it's great when you're with team you know and everything is running smoothly, but it still has network issues that are frustrating, and I still don't have a good feel for it, I always get swiftly murdered while when I do kill someone I had to chase them around the level to do so.. dunno what I'm doing wrong.
I'm still steadily helping Hagger from GTM with Rock Band 2, just going through the challenges, but there are only hard ones left so it's becoming troublesome. And The Beatles: Rock Band is also getting played a bit lately, I'm trying to 5* the challenges in that but in each setlist there is always a song that is a bastard, if you choose a different instrument then another song will be a bastard. Good fun though, I suppose. It made me buy the White Album. Thanks to Ed I've also played some Megaman 2, it's not as evil as I thought it would be, I can't do it, but it is fair (apart from that bit with the ladder and the birds). I doubt I'll ever do it but I like having 30 minute cracks at it.
The two games that I have put some time into over the last few weeks are Lara Croft: The Guardian of Light and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. I really like the Lara Croft game, it's just the Crystal Dynamics Tomb Raider games stripped out and focused into a brilliant action puzzle game, because of the view point the platforming suffers but there isn't much of it, I'mm happy it turned out as well as it did because I was skeptical at first. I'm about halfway through Prime 2, it's still great, but I'd forgotten how identical it is to the first. I really want to finish it, though. I never did, that should keep me occupied until the new one.
I'll probably update in another month or so.

not posted in here in a while - been playing lots of stuff i guess.
god of war 3, it was ok, good even but it didn't really grab me for some reason.
also been playing joe danger, it's good, quite adictive, and very tricky and frustrating later on.
like DC, i've been playing monday might combat too, again it's good, there's so much stuff to do in the 6v6 games it never gets dull, and so many options, been playing with friends which increases the fun. also like DC we have connection problems occasionally and the matchmaking splits us up sometimes which is annoying. summer arcade once again surprises me as i could end up buying 4 of the 5 games (hydro thunder and tomb raider both look good) when i wasn't too interested in any of them at the start, although no really amazing games like gw2 or trials this year.
not played rock band for a while due to a bad back, but its mostly better now so went through some old favorites and all the iron maiden songs in a big session at the weekend - which was awesome.
today the anual shmup forum tournament started - first weeks game is "Cyvern: The Dragon Weapons", i've never played it before and it's really good, really hard too though, its a bit like a raizing type - bomb stuff for medals - collect all the medals - type game, i suck at it though so the battle to not come last commences.
also played some soldner x2 - 2d shmup sequal on psn, it's pretty crap unfortunately, much better than number 1 but i still really don't like it.

With Castlevania HD being better than i expected my 360 catch up programme's taken a bit of a hit. I did manage to finish off Asso the Dolphin which is a pretty big game and i started getting back into Rez but Summer of Arcade and random old SNES games on the VC have taken over my life.
Like F-Zero. I appreciate if you didnt play it back in the days you wont like it now but the SNES original, whilst lacking the difficulty and speed of the 64/Cube entries, has a feel to it that i havent got off of a racing game since. I think it was the wow factor of Mode 7 at the time coupled with the amazing soundtrack, its just got the indefinable quality of Nintendo stamped all over it. I genuinely love it. Except the Death Wind tracks, they suck balls.

I've been in the land of PS2 again so if any of you were wondering, I am still alive, just not on my XBox....
Been playing Persona 4 which is either good fun or throw the controller down cheap. I like the day to day school concept and making friends, doing jobs, social ranking. I even enjjoy the dungeons to an extent and have the hang of card fusion.. What I don't like is going 4 lvls in a dungeon and then your lead guy dying and having to do it all again.
Also still playing Metal Gear Solid 3 : Subsitence Even though I've got the edition that allows you to play in 3rd person, I find it easier to use the tradtional camera viewpoint.
Spoilers
Just escaped from the rocket lab, having just 'killed' The Sorrow. Enjoying this more than MGS1 but not as much as MGS2.

I've hardly played anything at all this week. A combination of my OH being off work, visiting parents and Mini Stoobettas birthday has left little time for games. Most of my gaming time has been spent playing Castlevania HD - I have really enjoyed it, but I think I am tiring off it a lot quicker then Hendo/Illdog did.
I also bought Scott Pilgrim, which I have had a bit of a play on and quite enjoyed it so far - its quite hard tho - will be putting a lot more effort into it this week hopefully.
Other than that I've played a bit of Dragons Quest on the train. I was lost in it, but a bit of exploration and Metal Medley hunting have put me back on track.
Bit of a sparse week.

It's been a while since I posted here. Sorry guys. Anyway, I thought I'd add this one as it's a little unusual. After seeing the trailer for the forthcoming movie Tron Legacy, I started Tron 2.0 Killer App
Tron 2.0 is a little dated now, having come out for the Pc and original Xbox some time ago. However it's not a bad game at all. It's a FPS with some RPG elements. You play a guy called Jet, son of Alan in the movie. He is digitised and sent into the system by Ma3a (pronounced Ma Three Ah) after another person tried to digitise himself, but got corrupted in the transfer. Now Ma3a's systems are under attack by virus's, and Jet has to help.
Whilst the gameplay is nothing special, with standard FPS controls and play, the visuals are really special. Full of neon accents and cyber quirks. Your Disc can be remodelled to form your weapons.
You can obtain power-ups throughout the game, but you have a limited number of 'Memory Slots' to use them in, so you have to juggle what you use. There is a Light Cycle section of the game, with a new 'Chopper' light cycle to unlock.

This has turned out to be quite a fun, if not too deep, shooter.

I've been playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 online a bit lately, it's kind of like I've never been gone, mostly had some strong games. Also on the online front I've played some Blur. It's still oddly addictive but I don't know how to win, I'd like to win more than 1% of the time but I'll settle for being a pain in other peoples arse.
But I'm still on with Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. I'm at the point where I'm fully upgraded and I need to find 9 keys that are hidden throughout the whole area to get access to the big bosses home. I don't think I have all the clues that point to the key's locations, so that should be fun.
