You'll probably already know but the fan translation of Fatal Frame IV is now complete and available here; http://zero4.higashinoeden.com/

It doesn't need the homebrew channel but you can do it that way if you want, if you follow the instructions in the link you can see that all you need is a clean SD card and to pop a few files on it, then hey presto.

I've decided I'm gonna be a guinea pig and give it a go, despite it being quite a pricey game.. I also needed a new SD card. <_<

Just thought I'd post this up for anyone else interested.

That sound too good to be true:

The patch is a real simple affair too, with users only needing to put the patch on an SD card and not only will it swap out the Japanese for English, but also allow you to boot the Japanese disc.

Why isn't there more of these? I want to be able to play captain rainbow damn it!

I know, I reckon it'd be alot of work. If everything turns out swell then I will be donating to them and maybe adding a nice e-mail suggesting a Captain Rainbow one too. This needs to be encouraged.

That does sound way more interesting than what I first thought it was, I figured it was just a text translation to be read on a PC while you played, didn't realise they were going the whole hog.
I heard a monkey bit a woman's face off and pulled off her hands - it's true, it was in the news!

My copy turned up today and I'm just here to say it works, if I can do it I'm pretty sure anyone can.

I'll whack up some impressions when I've played it a bit more and work out if it was worth it.
